Changes & Bug Fixes

  • NEW FEATURES & ENHANCEMENTS

    • Switch to New Form Collaboration Component:
We've replaced the legacy form collaboration front-end component with new generic component designed for Content Authorizations. This initial iteration supports individual users (user groups support coming in future releases).

    • PayPal Custom Product Currency Configuration:
Workflow architects can now select from all PayPal-supported currencies when configuring custom one-time charges. Currency dropdown displays values in format: <currency code> - <currency name>.

    • PayPal Checkout Map Section
We've added the ability to map FormAssembly data to PayPal transaction fields. New "Map" section replaces "Metadata" section for PayPal connectors.

      • Available mapping destinations:
          • Custom ID
          • Soft Descriptor
(Note: Mapped values appear in PayPal transaction details.

    • PayPal Checkout Configuration Status Indicators
Configuration status icons have been added to Checkout and Charges sections:
                  • Green check icon indicates section is configured
                  • Orange warning icon appears when rows are added but incomplete in Map or Return Variables sections
(Note: Applies to both the PayPal and Stripe connectors.)

    • Trial User Creation Restrictions
Atlas trial users can no longer create additional users from the admin dashboard or via API. The "Add New User" button is disabled with tooltip: "You must purchase before you can use this feature." API returns 403 Forbidden status when trial users attempt user creation. (Note: Non-trial users retain full access to user creation.)

    • Licensing & Usage Display Improvement
The Licensing & Usage page now displays "0" instead of "-" for zero license counts. This provides clearer distinction between unavailable packages and packages with zero licenses allocated.

    • Automatic Approval Permission Removal for Trials
Atlas trial users who convert to paid accounts without purchasing an approval license add-on will automatically have approval permissions removed. This ensures licensing compliance during the conversion from a FormAssembly Atlas trial to a paid setup.

    • Remove "Lookup user list" Permission
We've removed the "Lookup user list" permission option when assigning permissions for App instances. All other instances (EC/CC) continue to act as if permission is enabled. (Note: Permission data is retained in the database for rollback capabilities.)

  • BUG FIXES

    • PayPal Transaction ID Display in Workflow Logs
Fixed: Workflow logs now display correct PayPal identifiers.
        • First log now shows: "Order created: <orderId>" (instead of "Transaction created")
        • Second log now shows: "Transaction completed: <transactionId>" with accurate Transaction ID matching PayPal records
(Note: Order IDs are only retrievable via API and not directly searchable in PayPal merchant dashboard.)
