We're excited to announce FormAssembly version 5.170.0, featuring powerful new workflow management capabilities, enhanced spam protection options, and important bug fixes to improve your experience.
New Features & Enhancements
Workflow Status Management
Manage Workflow Lifecycle with Active and Archived States
You can now better organize and control your workflows with our new status management feature:
Change workflow status between Active and Archived directly from the Workflow List page or within the Workflow Builder
View workflow status at a glance on the Workflow List page to quickly identify which workflows are active
Archived workflows automatically stop accepting new submissions and have their custom URLs removed
Publishing restrictions prevent archived workflows from being accidentally published
This enhancement helps you manage your workflow allocation more effectively and maintain better control over your active forms.

Enhanced Spam Protection with Altcha
New Alternative to Google reCAPTCHA
We've added support for Altcha, a privacy-focused spam protection solution:
Enable Altcha for both standalone forms and workflow forms
Choose between Altcha or Google reCAPTCHA (both cannot be enabled simultaneously)
Respondents must pass Altcha validation before submitting their responses
This gives you more flexibility in choosing the spam protection method that best fits your needs.
